My Contributions
I worked on two different productions on Emerson Channel: Chew on That and Culture Shock.
Chew on That is a talk show that focuses on a different culture through the favorite dishes of the guest host of each episode. I was the Director Of Photography for two seasons where I collaborated with the Director to create a shot list, recording schedule, and general guidelines for the production each month as well as coordinating with the Camera Operators to establish a consistent aesthetic for the production, and I supervised the upkeep and transportation of three cameras monthly to maintain the schedule.
Culture Shock is a comical commentary focused on uplifting the voices of international students. In its third season, I was their Floor Manager where I communicated Director’s notes, EP assignments, and scheduling to the entire cast and crew to establish a baseline of expectations throughout the entire production and aided in the acquisition of talent through in-depth interviews and prepared those selected in their roles within the production as well as headed the operation of three teleprompters and three cameras to create content that was in line with the Director's vision. By their fourth season, I was promoted to Studio Director where I corresponded with the Executive Producers to create multiple shot lists as well as various shooting schedules, mobilized the cast and crew to ensure production ran efficiently and smoothly for all involved, and participated in bi-monthly meetings with the EPs, writers, assistant director, and cast.
